Rakvere Citizen’s Dwelling at Pikk 50

Rakvere Citizen’s House Museum houses a permanent exhibition that gives an overview of a citizen’s life in the late 19th century and in the first third of the 20th century. The authentic well-furnished rooms have been in several films primarily because of their original look. In addition you can get an idea of tailoring, laundering and cobblery, because the landlord also let out rooms to others. You can try to do some of the works yourself or just sit in the arbour and taste apples falling from the tree.
