Publications

The museum has published several books which present the history of the region and materials preserved in the collections of the museum. The most popular publication has been “The History of Rakvere from the Earliest Time till 1944“. Our latest book "The Adventures of Knight Otto" is a colouring book for children illustrated by Raivo Järvi. A book about the furniture collection of the Museums of Virumaa is being written by the historian Jüri Kuuskemaa.
