The manors of Vihula rural municipality were elected the best regenerated physical site of tourism on 6 May, 2011.
In the competition “The Undiscovered Treasures of Estonia” organised by the Estonian Tourist Board of Enterprise Estonia, the first prize was awarded to three beautiful manors – Palmse, Sagadi and Vihula – of Vihula rural municipality . The lighthouses of Hiiumaa won the second place and Olustvere Manor was the third.
